New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1972. First US Edition Thus/First Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good. Originaly published in 1949 in two volumes. Full number line 1-10. An ex-library copywith minimal markings in red pictorial cloth with black type and design motif. Tape shadows/residue to tops and bottoms of boards and free endpapers. Sticker to rfep, stamps to front pastedown, ffep and top page ends. Rear hinge split at end of index with mull showing, but still holding. Interior clean. Jacket is unclipped ($17.95) with chip at top of front flap and fading to spine which has two tape shadows and sticker residue/scarring towards bottom of same and 1/2 inch tear. Please note: This book is quite large/heavy and may require additional postage - especially for overseas and expedited orders.
