Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. End papers are more notably foxed. Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Frontispiece becoming loose. One loose plate. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Peeling and loss to leather elements. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
