Near Fine, in a Very Good+ DJ. Black cloth spine with white titles over aqua paper boards. Just a whisper of shelf/edge wear - corners sharp. Authors inscription to prior owner on FFEP. Also included are three color photos dated 1994: 1) Lt General Gunther Hall, 2) Lt. Gen Gunther Hall and Col. Francis "Gabby" Gabreski and 3) Major Urban Drew. All interior pages are clean, crisp and unmarked. Dust Jacket is illustrated and clipped, with just a hint of shelf/edge wear and soiling - now in mylar. The pulse-pounding, heart-skipping exploits of legendary fighter pilot Francis Gabreski. The son of Polish immigrants, he witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor and fought in WW 2 finishing the war in a POW camp. Undeterred - he went on to fight in Korea.
