About This Item
Robert Hale, 1953 SIGNED, DATED AND DEDICATED by the author on the front end paper. This is classed as 'Fine' when the age and scarcity are taken into consideration. The book has been read, but is in firm and tight condition. Corners are unbumped. Blue cloth binding has been protected by the complete jacket. There are a few minor small creases and tears to the jacket, but there is only one tiny piece missing, and it is a blank area of white on the back panel. The flap is still with its price, 9.6 in old money. Just under fifty pence today. Jacket is now safe inside a mylar sleeve. This is a rare first printing anyway, but to have a copy so beautifully signed and dated makes it extremely collectible. A wonderful 50s classic design too.
