About This Item
New York: Delacorte Press, 1985. Boards. Very Good +/Very Good +. SIGNED BY KURT VONNEGUT on the first blank endpaper. A solid copy to boot of the 1985 stated 1st trade edition. Tight and VG+ (neat former owner inscription on the front free endpaper) in a crisp, VG+ dustjacket, with light abrading at the foot of the spine. Still though, a very presentable copy.
Synopsis
Kurt Vonnegut’s black humor, satiric voice, and incomparable imagination first captured America’s attention in The Sirens of Titan in 1959 and established him as “a true artist” ( The New York Times ) with Cat’s Cradle in 1963. He was, as Graham Greene declared, “one of the best living American writers.” Mr. Vonnegut passed away in April 2007.
