Within the text there are black-and-white illustrations by various illustrators. Colour illustrated front cover by Dember , with red and black titles to the front panel and back titles to the backstrip. Creasing to the book corners and browning to the book panels, text block edges and internal text. Previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Chipping to the backstrip edges and a few tears are also present. Previous owner has supported the backstrip edges with tape.
