A first edition of the final volume of the semi-autobiographical series 'A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight'. First edition. The last novel in the fifteen-book semi-autobiographical series 'A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight'. The series gives a great panorama of English life in a series of fifteen volumes, recounting the author's war experiences through the character of Phillip Maddison. It portrays the swiftly changing face of English society in an honest and sensitive manner. Written by Henry Williamson, an English writer who wrote novels concerned with wildlife, English social history and ruralism. In the original black cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. In the original unclipped dust wrapper which is also very smart with minor shelf wear to the extremities, particularly the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good Indeed
