About This Item

New York: McLoughlin Bros, [ca. 1880]. Chromolithographically illustrated paperboard box, 122 x 90 x 18mm, 32 chromolithographic cards, 4 pp. booklet of directions. A very appealing McLoughlin game consisting of thirty-two cards depicting "rats, mice and pussies." Scarce. Not in OCLC. A google search finds an identical one at the New York Historical Society, and also reveals a version with a different illustration, etc. on the cover. CONDITION: Good, box worn with two breaks in the edges of lid.
