New York: Scribner's, 1935. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($2.00), rubbed and bumped with creases and a few closed tears. Black buckram, rubbed at the bottom edge, with gilt lettering on the spine and front board. Square and bound with some reading wear, clean internally. The ninth Philo Vance mystery, adapted into the 1936 film starring Edmund Lowe.
