Oxford University Press, 1948. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover and hard to find book. No dust jacket. Four dime-sized circular stains on front boards. Beige-ish cloth covered boards, with wearing to corner tips and spine ends. Dented corners. Slightly cocked. Sunning to spine. Ex-libris stick on FEP. Paste downs and end pages are pictorial. Pages are age-toned. Binding is good, and copy is readable. Book does fall open between two of the page signatures, but as stated, good reading copy. 220pps.
