London: George Newnes, Ltd.. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Folio. 298 pages, indexed. Hardcover in green cloth with black illustration on front cover. Binding is damped, has gouging at the fore-edge of the front board. Rear board is scuffed, has wrinkling. There is a 2.5 long tear on the left side of the headcap. A 1 inch long by 1 inch wide flap of cloth part way down the spine. A 2 inch long rip on spine near foot, right side. Boards are damped and slightly warped. All edges of text block are gilt but the text block is shaken, so the gilt is scuffed and dulled. Text is toned. Some pages have smudges. Photographs throughout.

We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
