New York: Brentano's, 1926. This is a very good hardcover copy of the 1926 edition, not the later reprint. Very clean inside and out. Endpapers and text pages just slightly toned. A previous owner name on the front endpaper, dated 1926. No title label on spine. Front cover color plate a bit scuffed around the edges. Beautiful color plates of water colors by Pierre Vignal printed on heavy stock with tissue guards. Many Alinari photographs from the 19th century of famous Roman gardens and statuary. 13" high X 10" wide, 100 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and sent with tracking. . Hard Cover. Very Good.
