About This Item
New York: Norman W. Henley Publishing Co.. Good with no dust jacket. 1919. Twenty-third Edition. Hardcover. A clean copy of the twenty-third edition. The book was first published in 1897, and evidently updated every year. (You might wish to know which edition the print-on-demand clone reproduces.) Gardner was the original author, and at some point (not speicified), Page reviwed and enlarged the book. It is filled with wonderful illustrations, diagrams and photos alike, with a great pull-out of an automobile engine. Motorcycles are included as well. the front hinge is starting to separate, although the binding remains sound. The boards are scuffed and faded. A clear Mylar cover now protects them and enhances the appearance of this collectible. The only marking is a prior owner's name beautifully written on the front endpaper. .
