Small format, paper covered marble boards, 5.25 x 3.25 inches approx. , some background scuffing and wear, black leather spine and cornes, some rubbing to leather but generally very good, plain endpapers, page following front endpaper has the top half missing, preliminary title page is an engraving of a family, title given on this page is Gems of Lyric Poetry, previous owner's name written to top of main title page, neat dated 1842, 148 pages. .
