Star Trek Creator. Document signed, 3 pages, dated February 11, 1964. Freelance Television Film Writers Contract, agreement between Arena Productions and Gene Roddenberry for the rewrite of "Prod. No. 7106 tentatively entitled "A Touch of Crimson" "The Lieutenant Series". The first series created and produced by Roddenberry was The Lieutenant (1963-64). The Lieutenant, was a precursor to Star Trek, as it examined social questions of the day in a military setting, which was also the concept of star Trek. The Lieutenant Series featured guest performances by actors who later became the cast of Star Trek. Leonard Nimoy, Nichelle Nichols, and Majel Barrett. In excellent condition.
