The Thurston Print. Good with no dust jacket. 1897. First Edition. SIGNED by author on fep with inscription to his cousin, Esther Whitehouse. Dark green cloth covered boards with light edgewear and rubbing, bumped spine ends and corners (especially lower fore corners) , and gilt title on spine. Binding somewhat tender, minor marking to text in the form of corrections done in the author's hand. Age toning and some scattered offsetting to interior. Originally contained a portrait plate for each person detailed, these unfortunately have been removed. Simple typed bookplate of Esther Whitehouse to ffep. Hinges cracking. This 1st edition is scarce in any condition. ; 8vo, hardcover, 162 pages. ; Signed by Author .
