About This Item
Random House, 1959-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 8x8x1. Stated first printing; 46 p., clean and unmarked; deckle edges; insert of magazine article has made tan mark on a page--being brittle, it has been removed--but another insert is quite pristine. It is a certificate from the General Foods Kitchens Idea Center giving the recipient the right to have all questions answered for five years--space for name has not been filled out. Immaculate end pages have various tables charts for equivalents, measurements, etc. Lots of instructions and even etiquette advice accompany the recipes. Binding firm; the beige boards with bright gilt lettering on ochre spine have some faint smudges and a little rubbing and bumping--but remarkably little considering absence of d.j. There is a faint "old book" aroma, that probably won't linger long.
