About This Item

New York, NY: John Wiley & Sons, 1977 John Wiley & Sons, New York. 1977. Hardcover. Reprint of the revised copy of 1976 with an added appendix of new research and findings. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good +; light rubbing to boards; light bumping to head and tail. No DJ. Silver boards and spine with black and gray lettering; picture of windmill on the front board. 332 pp 8vo. This book has been out of print since 1965 but with the demand for alternative technology it was reissued with a new chapter (the appendix) from Dr. Harris of the Cranfield Institute which has long been a center of wind-power research. Here then is a classic analysis of the principles of wind-generated electricity, and essential reference for those now turning to the subject in the current expansion of energy research. A clean very presentable copy.
