DJ and book have library markings, DJ has some scratches on the front, wrinkling, chipping and crease on some edges and corners, some rubbing and stains, inside flaps are glued to the fixed endpapers, light discoloration and shelf wear otherwise very good. Book has a few chipping on the top cover edge, light discoloration and shelf wear otherwise very good. Book is signed by the author with inscription to previous owner "For Ring Library, Best Wishes, Iva Nell Elder Oct. 12, 1984" on the front loose endpaper. Women writers in Texas have good ole "Texas grit." At times their writing must fade into the background, until the babies are older or until the chores are done, but their desire to write never fades completely.
