About This Item

Boston: Beacon Press. Very Good/Very Good Dust Jacket. 1971. First Edition. Hard Cover. A very good Hardcover FIRST EDITION in Dust Jacket, published in 1971 by the Beacon Press. Has former owner's name to front endpaper, otherwise a clean and a solid volume; the dust jacket is lightly edgeworn, and now protected by a mylar wrapper. Conversations between Robert Coles and the radical peace activist Father Daniel Berrigan, who had, at the time (April to August 1970), gone undergound after refusing to report to the FBI for his actions as part of the Catonsville Nine. The late Father Berrigan was then protesting the Vietnam War and continued to be an activist for peace and non-violence throughout his long life. .
