Original 1829 edition/printing rebound in gray paper-covered boards quater bound in blue cloth with gray title band on spine with "Geological Surveys" in gold, 77pp, three foldout maps in color inside the rear cover. Cover has no wear, very lightly soiled by use. Pages are uncut, in remarkably good condition given age; moderately tanned and foxed mainly toward ends of book; maps have a few small areas of light dampstain; maps are otherwise in very nice condition. Light pencil notes about the book and binding on the front free end papers have been left for the next owner and may be erased and his/her discretion. ** We are a small family business selling fine new and pre-owned books online since 1999.
