New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1950. First edition, 1950. Part of the Twentieth Century Library, this book presents analyses of the works of world famous playwright, George Bernard Shaw, and reviews his comments upon life and the literati of the day. Glossy black cloth, patterned endpapers, 123 pages, printed dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with minimal shelfwear but with a vertical stain to the rear cover (echoed as a very faint dampstain to the rear panel of the dustjacket), sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with a non-author inscription on the front free endpaper, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has a half inch closed tear on the back, with an equal sized chip near the top spine edge of the front panel, very light foxing to a small portion of the rear panel.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
