About This Item

A critical study of the stylistic development of the Missouri-born painter, with 198 plates (many color). The companion volume is the most complete record of Bingham's work, with bibliographic entries on 494 paintings, 126 drawings, and 15 prints. Small quarto, two volumes, with the original prospectus laid in. Original rust cloth bindings, with brown and gilt titles. A near fine set in price-clipped dust jackets with some mild rubbing.
