Paris: Chez Claude Bleuet, 1770. First edition thus. Hardcover. Very Good. Small 8vo. [5], 2-298, [2] pp. Contemporary full mottled calf with the spine in six compartments, a red morocco label lettered in gilt on the spine, gilt decorations and rules on the spine; all edges marbled. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Publisher's device on the title page, with a few engraved head and tailpieces. New translation into French with notes by M. DeLille. Brunet 661. Graesse 359. The first edition of DeLille's Georgics. Brunet and Graesse are both highly complementary of this translation. Two small chips to the binding, boards moderately bowed.
