Minor shelf wear and light scuffing to cloth. Tight and clean. An excellent copy.
3 copies in OCLC. This is an uncommon history of Germany by Swiss-American author and US Civil War commander Lieb. Lieb immigrated to the United States from Switzerland in 1856 and was the commander of the Union 9th Louisiana Regiment of African Descent (later the 5th U.S. Colored Heavy Artillery), famous for the Battle of Milliken's Bend. After the war, Lieb became an author, newspaper editor, and Cook County Clerk.
