Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1983. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. This is a first printing of the first edition, with complete number line. The interior of the book is crisp and clean with few signs of previous use. The black cloth covers are clean, showing only a bit of wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is only in Good condition with light wear overall, but a price-clip on the front flap and two small tears -- one at the bottom of the spine, and the other on the back panel. The attached scan shows this in detail. . The jacket is now in protective mylar. Synopsis: "Chrissy overcomes her fear of ghosts to help a long-forgotten doll. Illustrated with photographs taken in a house built in 1812 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
