Synopsis
Jim Crace is the author of eight previous novels. Being Dead was shortlisted for the Whitbread Prize and won the prestigious National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction in 2000. Reviews
Set in an almost sing-song type, this book was not one that I would recommend to anyone. I have to read a book through to the end once I start it. This one was torture to finish. It was never clear from one paragraph to the next who the narrator was...sometimes first person, another times 3rd person.
