Minimal shelfwear, front hinge starting to crack, back hinge good. Binding secure. Illustrated endpapers, 18 b/w illustrations throughout. DJ has some chips top and bottom of spine, some minor wrinkles and shelfwear but protected now in clean Brodart. 248 pages plus ads for other Whitman titles. No price on flap. Back flap lists famous classics for boys and girls.. Illus. by Jervis, Margaret. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good.
