Milan, Italy: Tipografia Messaggi De G. Battista Messaggi. Good. 1889. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Leather. The text is entirely in ITALIAN. This is a small format leatherbound book (5 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches). The book is in Good only condition and was issued without a dust jacket. There is an inch+ long tear to the bottom front spine joint. The book has embossed decorations on the front and rear covers and four rules on the spine. The edges of the covers and spine have gilt edging. The text pages are clean and bright, though with light generalized toning. There is a small tear to the front foredge of the frontispiece. All edges of the text block are gilt (AEG). .
