London & Glasgow: Collins' Clear-Type Press, c1925 . Cloth. Good. 7.5" by 5". None. A very scarce copy of the third work in Elsie J. Oxenham's much loved Abbey series of novels for girls. First published in 1921, this is a later printing of the third novel in Oxenham's series of children's books.The third work in the popular series, which ultimately consisted of over sixty works. Undated. With the same pagination as the 1921 first edition, but published without the illustrations of Elsie Anna Wood that are featured in the first edition.With the inscription of J. Coast to the half title. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, bright. Rubbing to back strip head and tail. Hinges strained, and somewhat tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned but generally bright, with the odd spot. Good
