New York: McLoughlin Bros, 1889 Chromolithograph printed paper mounted on board with red cloth spine, corners chipped and worn, edges rubbed, spine worn, front hinge broken, finger soil. A large and wonderful alphabet book printed entirely in color. Each letter of the alphabet is accompanied by a short verse which utilizes the names of boys and girls, except the letter X which is represented by "Extra! Extra!" after the boys who sell newspapers. Note, this is not the board book version.. Pictorial Boards. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Chromolithographs. 4to.
