About This Item
London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1968. FIRST UK EDITION. 8vo. Black cloth, gilt and red lettering to spine. Faintest spotting to edges, else, a smart, square copy. In David Stanfield's original dust jacket: a little shelf soiled, creasing to spine ends, rubbed at extremities and leading edge of front panel, line of scoring and spattering to rear panel. Still, a lovely copy. Near fine/ very good. Translated from the French by Brian and Sylvette Scragg. Alongside writing novels and poetry, Crozet was a script writer for the BBC.
