San Antonio, Texas: The Naylor Company, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First Edition stated on titlepage, "This book ought to stimulate good literature-by contrast. Frank H. Bushick 4/2/34" in black ink on first free pahge. 308 pages with index, some vintage black and white photogrpahs, solid history of San Antonio Texas, Book is Very Good, orange cloth shows some light foxing spots, tight and square with sharp corners. No previous owner bookplate or writing. Black titles on front board and spine, edges show light foxing as well as pastedowns, light toning on endpapers, (book was bought in a collection from Texas and probably received sun that brought out the acid in the paper) Jacket is Very Good, one small little nick on top edge, light foxing and toning, light corner and edge wear, Ace of Hearts playing card title block with nice illustrations, spine and rear panel evenly tanned with book review on rear panel. Original $3.00 price intact. All and all a very presentable inscribed First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
