About This Item

New York: Condé Nast Publications, 1997. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. As New. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Fine; New. A sparkling example; see scans and description. Box-shipped - no bags here. New York: Condé Nast Publications, 1997. The October,1997 issue of Glamour Magazine. A thick, robust Quarto, photo-illustrated perfect-bound wraps, a very hearty 346 pp. New, and quite pristine - a condition that's hard to find in a periodical from 1997. See scans. No labels, and all tipped in or loose-laid cardstock offers remain inside. Fragrance even remains, as we seal this one, from a cosmetics manufacturer. Cover Girl Yamila Díaz-Rahi was photographed by Alexander Chatelain. Her hair was by Howard Fugler, her makeup by Brigitte Reiss-Andersen, and she wore a molinari sweater and skirt. The rich 346 pages of every subject known to womankind, including but not limited to fashion, celebrity, style, sex, health, relationship, and food journalism with very splashy professional photography to match make even the contents pages (2) a lasting perusal. But, as always, there are stunner large ad shots of celebrities - Tyra Banks, and Ivanka Trump herein, for examples - and of non-celebrities, equally stunning. Also, of course, thematic topics - such as, Lucy Lawless; Dating Violence; Inner Flirt; Plastic Surgery; Ob-Gyn Fails; and son on. A collectible, squeaky-new example of an early issue of a topflight genre publication. Very scarce thus. Shipped in a sturdy, new, protective box - no baggin' it here. LPR10
