Faux-leather gilt boards/NF. DJ/None. Author signed on fEP. First published 1948; this is the 5th Edition of 1964. Anthology of poetry by Ora Pate Stewart (1910-1990), honored by 4 U.S. presidents for her achievements & 1982 poet laureate of the World Congress of Poetry. Some of the poems in this collection were previously published in periodicals & newspapers. The last poem, titled "A Gleaner's Prayer" reads : "Thou, who has brought my feet to bounteous fields/ And place in the furrows where the yields/ Are ripened whisps, my gleaner's sheaf to find./ Stay by me now and teach me how to bind." The poet was honored many a time by Brigham Young Univ and received seven honorary doctorate degrees.
