White photographic and illustrated paper dust jacket with black titles. Blue cloth with titles in black. Includes appendix. Color illustration of Glider Gladiator shoulder patch, two pages of photos, photo on dedication and title page, one text sketch.

Inscribed and signed by the author on the front endpaper. In complete dust jacket which has some wear along the top edge and bottom rear. Some light general wear, square and tight.

The author was a former combat glider pilot. Novel which "discloses love affairs, personal anecdotes, rigid-trtaining and militarty air-grouind missions up to and including the Allied invasion of Sicily" [dust jacket].
