First Edition, 1922, Beautiful Red ribbed cloth with full front panel embossed gilt flower design with title block with in design. Book is Very Good, spine somewhat dulled ut still very presentable, corners lightly bumped biding solid and book is square, remnants of a partially removed bookplate on front paste down, 355 pages including the index. 26 chapters of short biographies of leading authors such as : Jane Austen, Mark Twain, Dickens, Eugene Field and many more. A most presentable, solid and quality publication. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
