Solid flexible hardcover. ; INSCRIBED by author on flyleaf: "To His Eminence George Cardinal Mundelein with compliments by (Rev.) J. Gabriel (Grossek) - West Bend Wis, 17 of july 1933." Cardinal Mundelein of Chicago, the first Cardinal west of the Alleghenies, is buried behind the main altar of the chapel at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. This book bears the custom Nu-Art Engraving Co bookplate of the Seminary on the front paste-down. Collection of essays on economic, political and ethnic problems by Reverend J Gabriel Grossek. "The present depression ought to make us think and to return to sound fundamentals.
