This story collection contains: A Gnome There Was; What You Need; The Twonky; The Cure; Exit the Professor; See You Later; Mimsy Were the Borogoves; Jesting Pilot; This Is the House; Rain Check; and Compliments of the Author. Mimsy Were the Borogoves was filmed in 2007 as The Last Mimzy, directed by Robert Shaye and starring Chris O'Neil, Rhiannon Leigh Wryn, Joely Richardson, Timothy Hutton, Kathryn Hahn, Michael Clarke Duncan, and many others. The Twonky was filmed in 1953, directed by Arch Obeler and starring Hans Conried, Gloria Blondell, Janet Warren and more. Also, What You Need was shot as an episdoe of The Twilight Zone in 1959, starring Steve Cochran, Ernest Truex, Read Morgan, Arlene Martel and others..
