Grey buckram, toned at the edges, bumped at the corners. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, lightly foxed at the endpapers, clean otherwise. Westlake's humorous novel about Fred Fitch, a gullible mark for every "itinerant grifter, hypster, bunk artist, short-conner, amuser, shearer, short-changer, green-goods worker, pennyweighter, ring dropper and yentzer.
