Translated and abridged from "Die Gesetzliche Regelung des Feingehaltes von Gold-und-Silber-Warren," by Mrs Brewer. Full dark red stamped publisher's cloth. xii, 13-140 pp., [16 pp. ads]. Folding map frontis. One chromolithographic plate with tissue guard showing samples of platinum, gold, silver, cinnabar, and scales of gold and platinum. Rubbing to extremities. Black stain to rear board. One signature nearly shaken loose at front. Some light foxing to frontis map. A few annotations and spots of underlining, but contents generally clean and neat.
