Orig. published in 1947, this is the First Printing of the 1955 edition, which does NOT (never did) have the foldout Xmas tree like the first edition. In 31 pages, with colorful watercolor illustrations on every one. Reinforced binding is designed to be extra tough & durable. Condition is VG: completely clean & unmarked, binding strong & straight, pages white & unmarked. Clear acetate covering is peeling at bottom of front cover & completely peeled from back & spine. Moderate rubbing to extremities, heavier at corners & both ends of spine, where foil is slightly worn, as is paper at all corners.
