Original brown half calf leather boards with original gilt titles on original label and gilt design to spine. Cover: moderately rubbed, small patches of wear and first leather missing to rear head cover by 10 cm x 1cm. Faint scuffing to only some of the extremeties. Once blue edges now quite faded with faint foxing and dusting of soiling. Slight splits to front guttering paper. Olde style signature 1809 to head of Title page and signature to bottom of Title page. Teeny chip to fep fore-edge. Few only pages with faint foxing. Some pages with vey light impression of illustrations transferred. One page white space with penciled line scribbles. 411p Publishers adverts at end. Binding tight.. New Edition. Hb. VG/None.
