A tight, well-preserved copy of the 1st edition of this early entry in the legendary turn-of-the-century "Golliwoggs" series, c. 1902. Solid and VG in its wonderful pictorial boards, with light soiling to the panels. Lavishly illustrated in color by Florence K. Upton, the verses supplied by her mother Bertha Upton. Oblong octavo, the rich illustrations uniformly bright and clean.
