Brock on the limitation page—fine, without qualifiers. Brown boards, backed in vellum, gilt lettered spine. Tiny bookseller's label to the rear pastedown. The first edition is 1934, the first illustrated edition is 1935 and this edition uses those illustrations. A poignant novel of sentiment, love, loss and enudrance.
