London (Great Russell Street): Transatlantic Arts Co, 1944. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Kuhn, Bob. First UK edition, first printing. Book manufactured to War Economy Standards. Translated into English by Raul R Milton. 162pp with line drawings in text. In blue cloth-covered boards with deep blue lettering front and spine. 12mo. Boards are rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, with some minor indentations on lower edge. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket, chapped and rubbed all round edges, numerous small cracks and tears along spine with some loss. A full length story for children from the author of Bambi, a Life in the Woods, and Bambi's Children. One of the harder to find Salten titles.
