The John Day Company, 1931. First Edition. hardcover. Good/Missing. 8x5x1. No dust jacket. The light brown cloth boards are worn at the corners, spine worn and sunned, decoration worn off and someone penned over the spine text. Name stamp front endpaper, hinge breaking at title page, rear endpaper has 3" chunk of corner ripped off. Page 100 has "flees" instead of "fleas," first printing point.
