Here, in 1917, the Boston Woven Hose & Rubber Co. utilized the symbol as an added bonus in this pamphlet - 4 pages of gummed labels to be used on one's jars after using their rubber sealers. Methods of preserving and recipes round out the pamphlet. Stamped on front cover: From Alling Rubber Co., Holyoke Mass. Covers lightly soiled, interior clean.
