This is an inscribed copy of Bob Hope's autobiography, "They Got Me Covered." 1941 1st edition (stated); Bob Hope; Hollywood, California. There are photographs and illustrations (some in color) throughout. Hope's inscription appears in pen on the front end paper as follows: "To Donald Johnston, Sincerely, Bob Hope." The Introduction was written by Bing Crosby. Hardcover.
Condition:
Light soiling to the covers and spine; there are a few small stains on the back cover. There is a 1" tear at the bottom-right corner of the spine. Light wear at the top edge of the spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The pages have an occasional light stain at the upper-inner corners by the spine. Light tanning to the end papers. Bob Hope inscription written in pen on the front end paper. Small, light stain at the upper-inner corner between the end papers and pastedowns. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
