Washington, DC: Government Printing Office, 1954. 9 volumes, 4to, each 16 pages or less, each in original printed wrappers or self-wrappers, each ex-Minnesota Historical Society with a small rubberstamp on the front covers; overall in very good condition. Includes Bindery Series nos. 1-9: The Process of Marbling Paper; Bookbinding Pastes; Bindery Glues; Miscellaneous Bookbinding Adhesives; Bookbinding Leather; Bronze Stamping Leaf; Pyroxylin-Treated Book Cloths; Control of Warp in Book Covers; and Paper Boards for Bookbinding. Also included are two others from the Composing Room Series: Type Metals; and, Transparent Proofs from Type Forms. One from the Ink Series: Ruling Inks and Dyes. One from the Materials Series: Detergents for the Printer. And one from the Plate Series: Electrotyping in the Government Printing Office. All contained in a black cloth-covered clamshell box, gilt lettering on spine.
